How it works
Built around the realities of overnight shift work.
Night Owl Academy will operate exclusively during evening and overnight hours — outside the regular daycare day. Here's how the model is being designed.
Step 1
Evening arrival
Families arrive in the evening, settle their child into a calm, supervised space designed for rest. Caregivers handle dinner if it's still meal time, bedtime routines, and the transition from a busy day to overnight quiet.
Step 2
Supervised overnight care
Children sleep in a safe, dedicated wing with consistent caregivers awake and on the floor through the night. Documentation, security, and staffing follow Georgia DECAL evening- and night-time care standards.
Step 3
Morning departure
Mornings are gentle — wake-up, breakfast, and an unhurried hand-off to families before school or the next shift. The schedule is built for the workers who keep our community running.
Plan types being designed
Three plan types — built around how families actually work. Specifics, availability, and any associated costs will be shared with the interest list once licensing is completed.
Recurring weekly plans
For families who need a consistent set of nights each week. Designed for nurses, first responders, and manufacturing crews working scheduled overnight rotations.
Drop-in membership
For families who need occasional overnight care and want priority access on an as-needed basis. Built for hospitality, on-call, and irregular-shift workers.
Occasional drop-in care
Availability-permitting overnight care for non-members. Plan details, availability, and any associated costs will be shared with the interest list as licensing is completed.

A note on specifics
Because we're completing zoning and Georgia DECAL licensing, some details — exact night counts in each plan, capacity per night, and pricing — will be finalized as licensure is issued. The interest list is how we share those details first, with no obligation.
